Meet Leo
I began my journey as a shepherd in Deyro, a small village in the Gerger District of Adıyaman Province, Türkiye. I later sold lemons on the streets of Istanbul before moving to the U.S., where I entered the hospitality industry as a waiter. To support my early acting career, I worked as a rickshaw driver in New York City and studied cinema in Los Angeles, appearing in several films. But I always found myself drawn back to hospitality.
In Anacortes, I opened a small coffee hut, which led to the Corner Caffé—my brick-and-mortar café and growing food service business. I import coffee directly from my home village in Türkiye, a unique product I’m proud to serve. Some of my items now sell successfully online.
As my business grows, I hope to bring more local people into the team and continue building community here in Anacortes.
